I made this series of cyanotypes using my original hand-cut paper pieces. This body of work represents the holdings of a natural history museum, and draws from my research at the Field Museum, Chicago, and the NC State Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, as well as the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, WI, and Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Laurel, MD. Individual cyanotypes range in size from 4×4 to 9×12.
